An exciting opportunity with the State of Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) — we’re currently recruiting for a Dental Program Administrator to lead initiatives that improve oral health care quality and access statewide.

This executive-level role is ideal for experienced Dentists looking to transition from clinical practice into strategic leadership. You’ll oversee the Dental Program’s operations, guide policy development, manage vendor relationships, and lead quality improvement efforts that directly impact Connecticut residents.

We’re looking for candidates with:

• At least 2 years of managerial experience in healthcare or public health
• A strong background in dental/oral health services, policy, or program administration
• Experience with clinical claim review, vendor coordination, and compliance initiatives
• A collaborative approach to quality improvement and clinical guidance
  

Preferred experience includes:
Oversight of prior authorization reviews, policy development, appeals review, and working with Quality Assurance to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
